Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These terms cover your use of the DriftPlan apps and the optional DriftPlan account service (sync, sharing, and published template links). By using DriftPlan you agree to them.
The service
DriftPlan is an offline-first planner. The apps work without an account; an account adds sync across devices, collaboration, and template publishing. DriftPlan is currently in its founding launch period and free to use; paid plans for account-backed features may be introduced later, and we'll tell you before anything you use starts costing money.
Your account
- You must provide a working email address and verify it; sync and sharing stay off until you do.
- You're responsible for your password and for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account, at the bottom of the settings page). Deletion is permanent.
Your content
Your plans are yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: storing your synced data, showing shared content to the people you share it with, and hosting templates you publish.
- Sharing makes content visible to the members you invite; think before you share.
- Publishing a template makes it public: anyone with the link can view and copy it, credited to your display name. Unpublish at any time; copies other people already made are theirs.
Acceptable use
Don't use DriftPlan to store or distribute unlawful content, to harass or impersonate others, to interfere with the service or other users (including attempts to bypass quotas or security rules), or to reverse the service's access controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Service changes and availability
We work to keep the service reliable but it's provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. During the founding launch period, features may change, break, or be withdrawn. Keep the app's local mode in mind: your data remains usable on-device even when the service isn't.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DriftPlan and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently: nothing, while DriftPlan is free).
Termination
You can stop using DriftPlan or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, with notice where practical.
Changes to these terms
We'll post updates at this address with a new date and announce material changes in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
